New York Fed's Main Office

Visitors must enter the building at 44 Maiden Lane and undergo security screening upon arrival. Be prepared to show officially issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport.

Photo-taking and recording devices cannot be used inside the building.

The New York Fed may close to the public at any time if heightened security is needed. If access to the building is restricted, we make every effort to contact visitors in advance.

Amtrak, Long Island Railroad and New Jersey Transit
Arriving: New York-Penn. Station
From New York-Penn. Station, take the downtown A or C train to the Fulton Street station. Then follow the directions above.

Metro-North
Arriving: Grand Central Terminal
From Grand Central, take the downtown 4 or 5 train to the Fulton Street station. Then follow the directions above.

Arriving: World Trade Center
From the World Trade Center station, walk two blocks east on Vesey to Broadway. Take a right and walk three blocks south on Broadway to Maiden Lane. Take a left onto Maiden Lane and walk to the entrance between Nassau and William Streets.

BY BUS

Out-of-town buses
Arriving: Port Authority
From Port Authority, take the downtown A or C train to the Fulton Street station. Then follow the directions above.

New York City Transit buses
M5 'to South Ferry'
: Runs along Fifth Avenue, Avenue of the Americas and Riverside Drive. Exit at Broadway and Cortlandt Street. Take a left onto Maiden Lane and walk to the entrance between Nassau and William Streets.

M9 'to City Hall': Runs along Avenue C and East Broadway. Exit at Park Row and Beekman Street. Walk one block east on Beekman to Nassau Street. Take a right and walk four blocks south on Nassau to Maiden Lane. Take a left onto Maiden Lane and walk to the entrance between Nassau and William Streets.

M15 (Local Only) 'to South Ferry': Runs along First and Second Avenues. Exit at Water Street and Maiden Lane. Walk two blocks west on Maiden Lane. The entrance is between Nassau and William Streets.

M103 'to City Hall': Runs along Third and Lexington Avenues. Exit at Park Row and Beekman Street. Walk one block east on Beekman to Nassau Street. Take a right and walk four blocks south on Nassau to Maiden Lane. Take a left onto Maiden Lane and walk one and a half blocks to the entrance between Nassau and William Streets.

BY CAR
Please note: Parking space is limited in the Wall Street Area. There is some near the South Street Seaport Museum (Fulton and Water Streets).

From the East Side of Manhattan
Take FDR Drive south to the Civic Center (Brooklyn Bridge) exit. Proceed downtown on Broadway, and then take a left turn onto Maiden Lane.
