Extension of Comment Period on Proposal

To All Depository Institutions and Others Concerned in the Second Federal Reserve District:

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System has announced an extension of time to receive comments on an advance notice of proposed rulemaking concerning its margin Regulations T, U, and X that was contained in our Circular No. 11024, dated February 9, 1998.

The comment period has been extended from April 1, 1998 to May 1, 1998.

The Board's official notice of this action, as submitted for publication in the Federal Register of April 3, 1998 is available as a file (pdf - 12kb).
