Circular
Compendium of Second District Highlights on the Year 2000
May 27, 1998
Circular No. 11056

To the Chief Executive Officers of All Depository
Institutions in the Second Federal Reserve District:

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is actively and broadly involved in helping financial institutions address the Year 2000 computer challenge, including disseminating information on the various efforts underway. Along these lines, we have worked with other New York area supervisors, regulators and industry groups to create a compendium that includes some of the key guidance circulated by the Federal Reserve and New York State financial supervisors, testing schedules, Year 2000 checklists, as well as important Year 2000 related dates for financial organizations.

A copy of the compendium, Y2K Second District Highlights (pdf - 69kb)is available as a file. If you have thoughts on additional ways that we may provide useful information on Year 2000 to the New York area financial community, please contact Sarah Dahlgren (Bank Supervision) or Derrelle Janey (Payments Studies).
