FDIC Meeting in New York City: Protecting the Financial Sector—A Public and Private Partnership

in the Second Federal Reserve District:

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation will hold a conference on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, in New York City, called "Protecting the Financial Sector—A Public and Private Partnership."

Government officials and financial sector representatives will update attendees on what has been done in the area of critical infrastructure protection. Speakers will discuss preparing for, managing and mitigating emergencies or disasters whether natural or man-made.

Session topics include financial sector emergency readiness, information to protect your company from physical and cyber threats, pandemic flu effects and planning, and voice/data telecommunication priority.
