Bank of New York, in conjunction with law enforcement authorities,
investigates complaints of fraud using its name. |

| Beware of solicitations promising consumers access to personal loans through a nonexistent Federal Reserve lending program. Under this fraudulent scheme, targeted individuals are told that that they can work through a broker to access a Federal Reserve program that extends sizable secured loans to consumers.

The FRBNY Hotline has been established for the purpose of reporting unethical or illegal behaviors, including violations of applicable laws or regulations, questionable accounting, operational controls and auditing matters. TALF Fraud Hotline
This hotline has been established for the purpose of reporting instances of fraud associated with the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility (TALF). If you are aware of fraud, or misrepresentations affiliated with the TALF, please contact the TALF Hotline.
What kinds of things should you report?
- Allegations of fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, false claims and misrepresentations affiliated with the TALF.
- Any activities that might impact the integrity of the TALF including, but not limited to, allegations of fraud or misconduct by Federal Reserve Bank employees and/or entities receiving TALF funds.
- Actions by persons or entities attempting to misrepresent their association with TALF by utilizing deceptive contracts or financial instruments; including, allegations of identity theft or misrepresentations.
