Federal Reserve Cash Services maintains comprehensive business continuity plans that will be activated in the event of a business disruption. How Will the Federal Reserve Contact us During a Contingency Situation?
If the normal provision of cash services is impaired, the Second District will notify its customers via broadcast messages placed on the FedLine Web notice page, messages placed on our 866-FEDCASH (333-2274) customer hotline, e-mail and/or status messages on frbservices.org.
Accessing Federal Reserve Cash Services
If your normal currency and coin ordering channel (e.g. FedLine® Web) is unavailable, you can also place orders by contacting the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s EROC office via telephone or e-mail. Please see contact information provided below.

If the Second District Federal Reserve office becomes inaccessible for an extended period of time, your financial institution may be directed to place orders with other Federal Reserve offices.
