Why the Fed?
As the U.S. central bank, the Fed offers one the opportunity to understand the role it plays in economic research, setting monetary policy, supervision and regulation, risk management and financial services. I joined the New York Fed to broaden my banking system perspective, serve my country and make a meaningful difference.
Advancing a culture of excellence and strengthening operational risk management practices are strategic imperatives of the Bank. Currently, I work with a dynamic group of professionals in the Business Process Excellence Office, the Strategic Investment and Risk Assessment Office and around the Bank to develop and deploy the Bank's Business Process Excellence (BPE) program. Managing and leading cross-functional BPE initiatives, monitoring BPE efforts across the Bank, partnering to build a support infrastructure, conducting events, managing suppliers and advising business areas, are highlights of my day-to-day responsibilities.
