Social Studies classes participate in an academic competition in which
they select a local, national, or global problem related to economics.
Students research the problem and possible solutions using a variety
of sources. A 15-minute presentation is followed by a 10-minute question
and answer session conducted by Federal Reserve Bank of New York officials.
Prizes include trophies and plaques. For middle school and intermediate
