New York Fed to Discontinue Publication of Foreign Exchange Rates »
The New York Fed announced its decision to discontinue the publication of foreign exchange rates on December 31, 2008.

* These rates are quoted in U.S. dollars per foreign currency unit. All other rates are quoted in foreign currency units per U.S. dollar.

The noon buying rates in New York for cable transfers payable in foreign currencies are certified by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for customs purposes, as required by Section 522 of the amended Tariff Act of 1930.
