Agreements governing U.S. dollar swap arrangements with the Bank of Canada, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan and the Swiss National Bank were announced on May 9, 2010. Extensions of the agreements were announced December 21, 2010. Further extensions were announced on June 29, 2011, November 30, 2011, and January 31, 2013. On November 30, 2011, these central banks also agreed to establish temporary bilateral swap arrangements so that liquidity can be provided in each jurisdiction in any of their currencies.
