Regional Economic Press Briefing on Housing: Current Trends in the Nation and the District

Overview
Members of the media who cover the Federal Reserve’s Second District are invited to attend a briefing by New York Fed regional research economists on “Housing: Current Trends in the Nation and the District,” as part of the New York Fed’s Quarterly Regional Economic Press Briefing Series. A staff panel will present economic and trend analysis for Downstate New York (including New York City, Long Island, Fairfield County, Connecticut and surrounding areas), Upstate New York (including Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, Rochester, Binghamton and Utica), Northern New Jersey and Puerto Rico.

New York Fed President William C. Dudley is expected to offer remarks and text is expected. Q&A is also expected.

Audience
Limited to members of the media who cover the Federal Reserve’s Second District and other reporters by invitation. Media must register by 5:00 p.m. EDT on Monday, October 18, and bring valid photo identification for entry. (Closed to the public).
