| New York Fed Discontinues Publication
of Weekly Averages of the Federal Funds Rate |

As of June 30, 2004, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will no longer publish a weekly average of the federal funds rate. The Federal Reserve Board’s Statistical Release H.15, “Selected Interest Rates (weekly),” will provide a weekly average each Monday on an ongoing basis.
