Tony Davis is the Director of Community Outreach & Health in Outreach and Education of the Communications and Outreach Group.

Tony leads a team that seeks to elevate and connect innovative ideas to capital to enable greater economic mobility by addressing the social determinants of health. Areas of focus include food insecurity, maternal health inequities, racial wealth and health equity, cross-sector investments in public health, and the economic implications of mental health. Tony also has responsibility for arranging regional visits for President Williams with leaders from the business, government, nonprofit, and academic communities throughout the Second District to better understand regional economic conditions on the ground and inform the policy making process. Tony has also served as the Community Affairs Officer, co-created and co-led the Federal Reserve System’s Investing in America’s Workforce Initiative, and oversaw the NY Fed President’s Upstate New York and Regional Advisory Board (UNYRAB).

Prior to joining the Bank, he was a Program Officer at the Enterprise Foundation, where he managed a public/private community development funding collaborative in Rochester NY. He also built partnerships between business, community and academic stakeholders to revitalize economically distressed neighborhoods.

Tony has an MA in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, an MA in International Affairs from Ohio University and an undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University.
