One vital sign of housing market conditions is the change in home prices. The New York Fed currently releases a set of interactive maps and charts each month to provide a look at current conditions. Based on data from CoreLogic, the maps show the percent change in price from a year earlier for nearly 1,200 counties, and includes a video sequence of these changes since 2003. Regional Mortgage Conditions
The Regional Mortgage Conditions utility presents analysis of the housing market in the tri-state region from January 2007 through December 2012. Zip code level data are available for New York City, Long Island and parts of northern New Jersey. Users can view the graphical analysis on a county-by-county basis and watch an animated timeline of how mortgage conditions changed during that period. The interactive map provides information about the percentage of loans in foreclosure, as well as those that are 60 days and 90 days or more delinquent. As of December 2012, released April 8, 2013 |
