The Outreach and Education function engages, empowers and educates the Second District communities that the Bank serves, especially civic leaders, students, educators, small business owners, policymakers and the general public. It furthers the Bank's commitment to the region by listening to the communities we serve and leveraging our unique attributes to positively impact school and university programs, as well as analysis and research.
The inaugural meeting of a workshop sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and open to monetary policy researchers from the greater New York area.
Overview The purpose of this workshop is to bring together academics and other researchers in the field of monetary economics to discuss a wide range of issues relevant to the conduct of monetary policy. Participants are encouraged to present both theoretical and empirical work.
The workshop will meet twice a year, in the spring and the fall.
