Following three successful meetings, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is sponsoring the fall 2006 meeting of the Monetary Policy Workshop, open to all researchers from the greater New York area.

Overview
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together academics and other researchers in the field of monetary economics to discuss a wide range of issues relevant to the conduct of monetary policy. Participants are encouraged to present both theoretical and empirical work.
The workshop will run from 9:00 a.m. to about 5:00 p.m. There will be four to five papers on the program, each with two discussants. Lunch and coffee breaks will provide time for informal discussion among participants.
