Rachel Schuh is a research economist in Labor and Product Market Studies within the Monetary Policy Research Division. Her research interests include gender inequality in the labor market and the interplay between innovation, worker outcomes, and firm performance. Rachel’s current research focuses on understanding the microeconomic causes of gender gaps in the labor market and their consequences for macroeconomic outcomes. Rachel received her Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University in June 2023 and her B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Carleton College in 2015.
