The Outreach & Education function engages, empowers and educates the public in the Second District. Our outreach mission furthers the Bank’s commitment to the region by listening to the communities we serve and developing programs, analysis and sponsored conferences and clinics to help meet their needs. Our education mission aims to advance public knowledge about the Federal Reserve System and its role in the economy.
Joshua Rosenberg is Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer, and Head of the Risk Group. Mr. Rosenberg oversees the Bank's risk management framework including its approaches to operational, financial and enterprise risk. Mr. Rosenberg also serves on the Bank's Management Committee and chairs the Bank's Risk Subcommittee. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Rosenberg was an Assistant Professor of Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business. Mr. Rosenberg holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and religion from Oberlin College and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego.
