Savvy Credit Video Festival
The New York Fed's Savvy Credit Video Festival seeks to engage, educate and empower young adults to be smart users of credit.|
Sponsored by the Fed's Regional and Community Outreach team, two concurrent festivals are held each year, one in Puerto Rico and another for the tri-state region of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Based on peer-to-peer learning principles paired with modern video technology, local college and university students create a 30-second video aimed at young adults promoting savvy credit use. The videos are judged by industry experts and prizes are awarded.
The NY tri-state 2014 Festival is now open for video entries. This year's credit theme is "How to Improve Your Credit Score." The deadline for video submissions is December 11, 2013.
