Economic Inequality: A Research Series

Economic analysis often focuses on understanding the average effects of a policy or program and, though useful, does not tell the whole story. This recurring series explores how policies and economic trends vary across geographic, demographic, and socioeconomic boundaries, through the lens of race, gender, age, income, education, and other factors. In tandem with the Equitable Growth Indicators (EGIs), we deliver timely data and analysis on a range of topics.

See article on Equitable Growth by Kartik B. Athreya, director of research and head of the Research and Statistics Group.
