Tips and Fraud Inquiries

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York does not maintain accounts or funds on deposit for individuals or non-financial institutions, nor does it participate in any federal grant programs. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will never send an e-mail or call you asking for personal information. Visit our Tips and Complaints page if you have any information or wish to file a report about: unethical or illegal behaviors involving the Federal Reserve Bank of New York or its employees, a potential fraud involving the use of the Federal Reserve's name, or a complaint about a financial institution.

Consumer Complaints

To file a complaint against a financial institution that the Federal Reserve Regulates and get answers to frequently asked questions, visit the Federal Reserve Consumer Help Center.

Treasury Bills and Savings Bonds

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York no longer handles savings bonds. Information about savings bonds, including availability, redemption, and calculation of value, can be found on Treasury Direct.

Publications

For publications, contact the publisher directly. The New York Fed no longer prints copies of the comic book series. The comics are available online for viewing and downloading.
